# More power on an already stacked hook

**I AM CHOIR workflow · Hook**

**Use it when:** The hook already has doubles and harmonies and it still needs another gear.

## The win

> "When I've already completely stacked the hook with doubles and harmonies, I AM CHOIR is my go-to for more power."
>
> Howard Benson, Producer · My Chemical Romance, Three Days Grace, Papa Roach

## Settings to start with

| Choir | Mic | Layers |
|---|---|---|
| Gospel | U67 | Octave Down for weight |

## The system

1. Leave your existing stack alone. Bounce only the dry lead line of the hook.
2. Generate the main choir plus Octave Down.
3. Drag the parts out as separate stems and put them on a bus under your stack.
4. High-pass the choir bus so it adds power above your low end, not mud.
5. Lower or mute Octave Up if the hook already sits high. It can dominate a high vocal.
6. Add reverb to taste, then A/B the hook with and without the bus.

## You nailed it if

- The hook hits harder in the A/B, not just louder.
- The kick and bass still have room.

## Skip this

- Running every generated part at the same level as in the plugin preview.
